'Change' Means Betrayal

I will sum this up quickly cause the whole debacle of Obama's presidency just makes me ill.
The man runs a campaign on 'change and hope' so as to open our relations with other countries and cultures that supposedly hate us(?) or our productive use of capitalism or open borders or religious acceptance....i know WHAT, thats ironic and confusing?!? Anyway, i still don't know why people fell for this.
Quick synopsis, and the biggest irony that really effects us all: the man has most recently sold out our last Eastern European allies to the Russians (Polish and Czecks) meaning the Russians now have entire control of the eastern block. The 'Bears' that they are are the main funders of uranium to the Iranians. The Iranians (Ahmadinejad whom has declared he wants to 'finish what Hitler started') and wants to wipe out all of Israel and wage war on our 'immoral country' as well, are now building immense nuclear arms.
Israel will fight back this time. Israel has no capacity to defend themselves against this devil that is Ahmadinejad.
The United States has two choices: allow Iran to go nuclear or step in. This will either be World War III people! or an entire new Holocaust in the Middle East. This would be exactly what Russia wants. Kid you not, the Bears are losing power. They are the one's that still want to control all the oil production on the planet. "Let them wipe themselves out" is exactly what they are thinking; less competition. We are being laughed at.
Obama's 'change' is acceptance of this behavior, allowance of this to soon transpire, and literal ammunition. This is beyond travesty. This would be a war no one can imagine.
What is our president doing? Going to Denmark (on a deal that has already been sealed) so as to return with another trophy. Stop worshipping this man that is a news-show-hopping popstar, false idol politician, NOT a leader. He is betraying all of us for his ego. He is harming us with his pride. And destroying our country with his ignorance.

The great leader speaks little.
He never speaks carelessly.
He works without self interest and leaves no trace.
When all is finished, the people say, "We did it ourselves."

    Think Wigan, think pie!
When you consider Wigan and food, there’s only one thing that comes to mind… pie! Whether it’s slapped in a barm, covered in pea-wet or served up with chips, Wiganers are renowned for their love of all things pastry-wrapped.

    Pies
    Pies

In fact, pies go down so well in Wigan that every year, the World Pie-Eating Championship takes place in the town, but why has the town become so synonymous with pie?

You’d be forgiven for thinking that it’s because of the sheer volume of pies that are consumed by Wiganers every year, but in reality, they don’t eat more of the stodgy treats than most other towns. The reason for the nickname actually comes from a very different time.

It all started on 3 May, 1926, when the General Council of the Trade Union Congress called a general strike in support of the nation’s coal miners, to protest against falling wages and worsening work conditions.

For nine days, Britain was brought to a standstill. Workers in key industries, such as railwaymen, dockers, steel workers and transport workers, downed tools and picketed their workplaces to support their mining colleagues.

Despite so much support, the TUC eventually had to give in and tell people to go back to work after the Government stated that they couldn’t force employers to take everyone who had been on strike back.
    Let them eat pie

Up in Wigan though, they had already returned to work. The collieries there had decided to take matters into their own hands and were literally starving their miners back down the pit. With nothing to eat and no money, the workers had no choice but to return to work before the workforces of the surrounding towns.

They had, in essence, been forced to eat ‘humble pie’.

Thus the nickname that Wiganers now cherish was born. Not out of a love of pastry-covered meats, but out of the cruelness of employers and the harshness of life. Much as Wigan enjoys its pies now, for one day in May 1926, pie was the last thing they wanted to be eating.

In December 1999, Raytheon Systems Ltd was awarded a contract for the development of the UK Ministry of Defence airborne stand-off radar (ASTOR). The system, which includes five Bombadier Global Express business jet aircraft fitted with a derivative of the Raytheon ASARS-2 radar, is an airborne battlefield or ground surveillance radar system for operation with the Royal Air Force and the British Army.

The ASTOR is to be known as Sentinel R1 in RAF service. The first production aircraft was delivered to Raytheon in February 2002 for integration of the ASTOR system.

The first ground station vehicle was delivered in October 2002. The first ASTOR Sentinel aircraft made its maiden flight in May 2004, the second in July 2005.

Three Sentinel aircraft took part in formal flight testing in Greeneville, Texas. The first Sentinel R1 aircraft was delivered to the RAF in June 2007, the second in November 2007. The last aircraft is scheduled for delivery in early 2009.

ASTOR entered service with the RAF in December 2008. Initial operating capability (IOC) is due in October 2009. The main ASTOR operating centre is based at RAF Waddington in the UK.

Raytheon Systems Limited, UK, is the prime contractor. The team includes: Bombardier Aerospace, responsible for the Global Express Jet; L-3 Communications, the Ground Station; Lucas Aerospace, the electrical systems; Messier Dowty, the landing gear; AgustaWestland, the doors; and Rolls-Royce, the engines.

    Radar

The radar is an upgrade of the Raytheon ASARS-2 side looking airborne radar used on the U-2. The radar operates at high altitude and in all weathers to provide high-resolution images. The antenna systems are supplied by BAE Systems, Edinburgh. ASARS-2 has been reported to provide images of the battlefield at ranges of 160km, at altitudes up to 47,000ft.

Thr real time. The system has directional and broadcast data links which are interoperable with existing U-2Rs, JSTARS and command and control networks.

The tactical and operational level ground stations are being developed by L-3 Communications Integrated Systems, Raytheon Systems and Marshall Specialist Vehicles.

The tactical ground stations are installed in 10ft shelters mounted on 6x6 improved medium mobility Steyr Pinzgauer 718K trucks. 20ft transportable shelters are provided for operational level ground stations.
